22re and auto problems...

Hi all,

Just bought a new corona.. Its all good and im loving it only that ive noticed its using exactly twice the amount of fuel my old corona used.. Both exactly the same except the new one is auto and have aircon and power steering.. I dont quite get it.. Looked over everything quickly the other day and it all seems normal.. It doesnt seem more gutless than the otherone but it could just be the auto...

Also the auto seems funny.. When starting off in forward or reverse it jumps in and out of gear a bit and when changing up gears sometimes takes a while and revs a bit.. I checked the oil and its fine and seems pretty new.. Is the auto on its way out??? Also its a bit slow getting into gear from neutral...

checked fluid level after warmed up and engien running?

Yeah all normal... I forgot to say before that sometimes the engine light comes on for a split second and it misses a little then goes back to normal.. It doesnt happen very often though...
