Ouch. Agreed with Chuck, the screen will need to be removed. Cut and paste from there. Unfortunately, there is likely to be more under the dash, let alone under the screen, and the stuff under the dash is immensely hard to get at.

    Good luck.

    i have a question.

i have a mx83 cressy that i'm starting to sand but i'm usure of how to prep it for paint? i'll be using acrilic paint cause its easyier

would you sand the whole car back and primer it again or is there no need to?

You will need to sand the whole car back to give a key that the paint will stick to. A primer will allow the new paint to stick properly, so I wouldn't do without it. But you shouldn't need a high fill primer, just a normal thin coat should do the trick, unless you are fixing up some hail damage or other dings, or rust.

Satin grey, do you mean shiny primer.

Brings back memories of painting a TA22 for one of my sons mates. Prepped the car, mixed the silver, went for a leak, and while I was gone the guy drops a litre of white into the silver mix. What the hell it is his car, so I spray away, and it looked like shiney primer doh.

Sent the lad off to get 50grams of white pearl powder, which I added to some clear. Brought the silver right out, the friggin thing was almost chrome in the end.

    cheers Chuck.

You realise that 5 minutes with masking tape will save you 3 hours with thinners, and even then you won't get it all off...
