i like this idea, ive got one of these cheap blasters. never had much luck using it with sand cause the sand was always damp. soda would definately be a good idea, better than paying some monkey to do it for ya i would imagine, i know i payed too much to get my window channels and inner doors done
pics of gravity feed setup would be good, but im imaging a beer bong strapped to the blaster filled with soda![]()

, as it produces a mountain of dust. But i find it much faster then soda blasting (and you don't have to remove chrome etc), only problem is the shells break down and once they become fine its not so great for paint removal but perfect for general grime and oil removal and wont damage/pit your parts.
