Stock radiator will be fine assuming its clean and in good condition.
(I'm also assuming the stock RA60 radiator is the same as the stock MA61 radiator)
Im almost finished my conversion on the celica, all i pretty much need is a radiator.
Ive done a search and all the pages i found they used custom radiators or didnt know because they brought it like that and so on.
Dont really want to get a custom ally one made up so i was seeing what ones people have used.
Ive had a look at the wreckers and found excel, mazda 323, and the ford meteor had a close radiator.
Am i on the right track or what ?

I just had my standard radiator modified.
You need to swap over the inlet.
Also, you need a bare minimum of a dual core (triple core better). Triple core will hit the air cond. compressor, though.

Dont have aircon, ill have a talk to the guy at the radiator store tomorrow to see what he can do
Thanks
There should be a triple core for the RA60 then. Well that's what was in my radiator guy's catalogue.
Granted this was years ago...

just went then wasngt toooo much help, cant find a tripple core unfortunatly, also cant find another top tank to use.
Nark do you remember what the part number was for the tank?
Cheers
riceburnagtv (on these forums) sells custom alloy radiators for probably not much more than tripple coring would cost you.
Got good condition 23/28 bonnet hinges? pm me
If you can source a second-hand MA61 radiator (with metal tanks) it will cost a couple of hundred to have a triple core put in it. I'm assuming the mounting arrangement is similar enough in the RA60.

Yeah i knwo where i can get a ma61 radiator, ill have to have a look and well see.
Still no luck with the radiator, any one got any part numbers for me, my two radiator guys seem to be no help what so ever![]()
You might want to look into the cheapie alloy radiators available on eBay these days; if you don't mind fabricating your own brackets etc it's a pretty cheap option. Given the quality of my eBay intercooler I wouldn't have any problems giving one of these radiators a go.

MZ10's seem to have substantial 3-core radiators in them (well, the ones ive seen have). There's always a few on here being wrecked/parted-out.
Yep, but only z10's seem to have the good 3 cores! MZ12 has a two core! (suspect GZ10 and MZ11 the same)Originally Posted by thechuckster
