i did it 3 weeks ago from 98 mobil to jfp 100 and also shell V power racing 100 and we ended up with 6 kilowatts over the 98 mobil and also 3 degress more of ignition right across the range .
the JFP race fuel was shit as it needed 10 % more fuel and also had 10 % ethenol and didnt get any where near the 100 shell stuff

Chatting with J the most likely cause for the excessively rich mixtures on the dyno could be attributed to running retarded timing, the more slower burning fuel probably wasn't getting full combustion. Certainly supports the argument that no extra power will be gained without extra boost or timing, since all you will get is added knock resistance with a basic fuel swap. Infact its more likely that you will drop power on a tune for 98 when running 100.
