    OK

    maximum RPM of 18rg engine?
Im trying to rev my engine over 9000rpm.

    My engine:
18rg head titanium valves, orginal springs.
    11mm lift cams.
    Stantard 18R crank.
    pistons forged aluminium-titanium matrix (300g)
    carillo nascar conrods.
    steel flywheel.
    tilton clutch.

What part of engine is first one to blow?
What thing needs to take in concern when reving this hi rpm?

I'm guessing mains caps? the rest of the gear looks pretty solid, assuming ARP fastners?

My old 18RG turbo with stock rods (linished then shot peened) was revved to 8000+rpm on a regular basis and was fine.

The big weakness for a boosted RG is the OEM head bolt, so again ARP heads studs would be the go.

Sounds like a serious motor. Agreed with Justen, ARP fasteners all round would be a good start (rods, mains, head and flywheel). I would also get your mains line bored (mine were slightly out), and when they torque up the ARP fasteners on the big ends, they will need to bore your rods as they will go out of round on the big end.

Have the block bored to suit the pistons, increase the oil pump pressure (shim up the bypass) as the general rule of thumb I have been given is 10psi of pressure per 1000rpm when hot for a performance motor (my bottom end was built for 9000rpm, however I think the cams and turbo will be too much of a restriction to get there).

Factory standard is 60psi hot. I can confirm that a standard 18RG pump with 30 years of wear and an offshoot to a turbo will hold that 60psi when hot. I haven't shimmed up the bypass, so can't comment on increasing the pressure past that just yet.

    max pressure, max rpm ect...

You do have the 30 mm high RG pump I take it. I would be sus on using the 25 mm one from an RC.
    Owen, the normal one.

    S. Lowlux: I have bigger RG pumps but they are not for sale.
They are hard to find in Finland too.

jsskangas, mate we seem to have an Aussie english to Finnish language missunderstanding. My comment, "I take it" did not mean that I am wanting to buy the pump. What it means is that I take it as read, or I take it as a given thing that you are using the larger pump. Hope that clears your understanding.
I have the larger pump myself & make even bigger ones, look back in this thread.

Valves are half of weight that orginals are.
I think this compensates lack of spring load.

I have nascar springs but these need too much mods at this time.

You would need the sump from an 18R powered Hilux of the same year - as this was the one which was made to suit your vehicle. 18R-C sumps are identical to 18R-G items.

my lux was only up to 12 r ( 1500 cc) at that stage, an 18 r would have been a great option ,
cutting and shutting this weekend it is
    cheers
