Takes a wideband controller input, i think. Not sure if the new V.3.0 PCB has the controller circuitry onboard yet (i have the v.3 board).... but im looking into that

If I remember correctly, SLEEKA used a set up from Injection Perfection.
It's been a while since I saw that car and it's show board, but I'm reasonably sure.

I reckon they've changed their design in recent years though, their current sets don't quite look the same.

Here's another company, they're based in England, but their range is far better for sizes, lengths and all that.
It works out to about AU$900 for a pair of DCOE TBs in either 40mm, 42mm, 45mm or 48mm. The 50mm ones are more.

duh....and i have seen your posts, sorry...i more mean performance advantages (if any). besides length/width the two are noticeably different, unlike my short manifold the long manifold i have (88220) has conical shaped ports with larger inlets and smaller outlets, like it was made for some more big ass carby's than factory or something.

I haven't got much to add on this other than some fitting issues.
I've also got one of each that were pictured. The long one doesn't clear an 18RGEU thermostat housing, hence the offset to the rear of the engine that the later, short ones have.
There are two different styles of long runner manifold.
The one pictured at the start of this thread has even length runners of even angle from perpendicular to the head.
The other long manifold allows for the engine tilting down at the back, and raises the runners on uneven angles so that the carbies both sit level. The throats still angle up slightly, but they are level front-to-back.
It also does not fit with the 18RGEU thermostat housing (without taking a file to the thermostat housing anyway).

The long ones were early models, 88211 and 88230 something, and so might not fit very well in an RA23/28 for clearance with the brake booster.

Unless you're building a turbo engine with lots of boost, there's no need for a metal headgasket - just use a normal one.

Along the lines of Steve's manifold post, I am attempting to use a short runner manifold on my 230 head but am encountering some issues. The balance tube is hitting a tab on the 230 head, pics below to explain:

    250 head - intake side

    250 head with balance tube

230 head - intake side (notice tab)

230 head (balance tube isn't going to fit without filing away that tab)

230 head - better view of the tab

Now this obviously wouldn't be an issue if I was using the longer manifold but I don't have one and the short one has already been match ported and bolted to the engine. Plus as Steve mentioned there may be clearance issues with the brake booster and the longer runners.

Just some info for anyone else who may run into this issue and also a design difference between the 230 and 250 heads (does anyone know what is supposed to bolt to that tab by any chance?). I can't comment on 210, 253 and 270 heads as I don't have any on hand.
