All I know is that my diff was welded too close to the splines so I had to chop 10mm off each axle as the welded part was too close. Did that and all is good and that is putting 276rwkw through it on the dyno so far and 230rwkw on the track. All good so far

yep 10mm should be fine but make sure the spline is cut far enough along the axle.

tip, spread grease on the spline then slide in and remove. if you have enough spline left over towards the bearing end of the axle then trimming is fine.

i put the axles in with some grease on them, shite loads of room to shave off what is needed
