    Asked my mate and he definately used pop rivets and fibreglass on the ducktail wing then used more epoxy and finally bog to get it all smooth and covered up.

    HOWEVER, he said he didnt think he used pop rivets on the lip cause it was cracking the fibreglass lip itself but said he used those gold self tappers and then used some fibreglass to cover the screws up. I'm pretty sure the lip isnt blended although the wing is but he probably trimmed it down so it sat on there good.

    You could always go the self tappers and then use fibreglass to blend it all together but depends how you want it to look. Id be a touch sceptical on sixaflex as i dont know whether it would be strong enough.

    Thanks LeeRoy, sounds great yeah makes sense that a pop rivet will crack the fibreglass as you can not control the tension as you can with a self tapper.
