Does he have a towbar on it tho? If so, go down to your local servo and hire a tandem trailer (the big dual axle ones you can put a car on). Take the trailer down to where your car is stuck, load it up, tie it down and bring it home.

Just a tip if you do do it that way - try to put the trailer ramps up on a slight incline (such as a driveway) so that the angle isnt too steep. Otherwise your car will get 'beached' half way onto the trailer.... if that doesn't make much sense, i'll draw a picture if you want.

Most tandems will have a hand winch on them. Can you get a few of your mates to help out? If you're worried about a fine put a sign in the window and pray that the parking inspectors are compasionate.

Can anyone else here that can recommend a fair priced tow company?? I'll be honest i only have about 200 bucks before im flat... and if i cop a ticket, i'll be done for. i get paid per month, and i have to wait till the month ends b4 i get some funds, and cause i paid for the loan b4 this event, i have a big problem.

is there a tow company that can get my car from Chatswood to Kingsgrove for 200 bucks or less? someone ? anyone?

Thanks for the above post Andy, i missed it as i posted. But unfort, i dont have mates around the area where i work, and most that can help me isnt in Australia atm.

Should always join NRMA. It's a good investment. I don't want my car to break down either, but break down it did (frayed main EFI wire arcing onto body). RACV couldn't find the fault, but they did offer free towing

how busy is the street the its parked in..... you could always roll it down the bottom of the hill slightly. maybe at night when its not so busy. signage for parking officer might be good...leave a contact phone number incase they wanna call you or anything.
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

done all that already, its at the bottem of the hill. But i need to get it out of there, and its getting a bit urgent since i've been there for a day already.

can someone refer me to a towing company that they find to be good and not too expensive?

Yeah hrmm.. keep it in mind for the future then eh? 'Coz cars, they are worse than women. At least with women you can predict the behaviour to an extent...

    edit: beaten to it
another edit.. beaten to it again

You could hire a ute with a towbar, and a trailer for probably about $100 for half a day, I'd think...

Man if i can get it towed to somewhere close by where there aint no time limit to how long i can park, i'd prollhy leave it there until i get some funds. Thats the last choice i think.
