I have had Celica's with 1G-GTE's and 1JZ-GTE's engineered with the RA60/MX62 brakes, as well as worked 2TG's. Pug HiLux is better if you do track work.

What you will notice with the stone guard on the ra28's, it covers the whole disk, so air flow seems impossible to cool the disk.
But if you get the XT130 cover, it has a air pick up area. So a section faces the other way (inwards).
I tryed to buy the set from pick/payless but they wanted $30 for them.

    Hi,

mates rates through where he used to work. Needless to say he doesn't work there any more and price wouldn't be the same.

Hi, I am after some specific struts, which I am not sure if they exist, but here is hoping they do. Basically I am running RA60 struts with gx71 hubs and brakes for248x 22mm vented discs. (which for the record are absolutly fantastic with a decent compound under race conditions, current using wilwood polymatrix E compound). However in looking for the next level I want to go to wilwood 4 pots. so.. The struts have integral caliper mounts which just make things hard work for mounting the wilwoods.

    The questions.
Is there a struts with 90mm lower spacer, large wheel bearing size, same kingpin angle and REMOVABLE caliper mounting plates?

Other wise its get out the grinder and use the backing plate holes to hold a plate on, or weld new mount points on.

    Cheers
    Logan.

Why do hou have to stay 90mm spacing? You should be able to get similar length steering arms in an 85mm spacing which will open up your options. Sheepers mods to his RA28 struts looks close to what you want, stub axe is also the same.

Hmmm, all the 90mm struts I've seen are built in caliper mounts. Grinder might be your best option.

    hi,
i was looking to find out what master cylinder would work well with this conversion on an ra40? i am unsure which size my booster is.

also where in north suburbs of adelaide can machine down my rotors? A few places have already told me they wont do it because it is unsafe.

    thanks for your help

    Cheers Shea

    Hi all,

I have a question with regards to the strut/caliper setup.

I have a pair of ST141 struts and the distance between the dust seal surface and the centre of the caliper hole is 60mm.

Could someone be kind enough to tell me the distance for the RT132 / XT130

    Thanks
