Just the double joint is a bit of worry, and there not molly rose joints. I mean in the way your going to drop from 13's to 10". It wont take you to long to get the times down as your sorting everything pretty well.
just see how much the guy charged 86slut to do his bars with the thread inserts etc
what diameter is the bar? from the ae82?

    Ok then.

I had a look down the wreckers then. THey had some from a widebody camry that were about 3-5cm longer than these and one end the bush moved a bit and the other was solid. Rang the mechanic and he reckons that if I do it this way, they should both be able to pivot a bit as there is less cushioning in the bush. He gave the example of having the car flat but with one rear wheel on a brick and the diff is twisted. If one of those mounts is stiff then it probably wouldn't like it.

Mate that build race cars will do you a couple of bars complete ready for 5/8 or 1/2 rose joint in CDW for $300 and cheaper if you get a few guys to do them as he cam machine the inserts all up in one go!
i just rang him for you and he said no problem.

Do you have a panhard rod or a watts link to locate your dif lateraly, i'm guessing it does as the four link you have pictured the rods are all quite square to dif.

What the mechanic said about dif being twisted is what i was trying to say, must have been able to explain himself better than i did.

The adjustable rods that you have pictured look like they would do the job quite adequately.

Adjustment on top links will be enough, to go any further you will need fairly major surgery to floor pan as shown in the other link.

    regards

That was done by myself and a mate, so cost was limited to rose joints, gas for the TIG, and the 'Moly. A price for the kit has been worked out at $1200 supplied, or $2000 fitted. It took us around 24 hours of labour from start to finish.
Keep in mind Chris, having solid bushes like rose joints (if you decide to go this way) transmit a lot more NVH into the cabin. Not sure if this is an issue for you or how often you drive the thing, but might be something to keep in mind. They'll also flog out a lot sooner than urethane depending on how much punishment they get.
Oh yeah, make sure you get one-piece, teflon lined ones too!

$300 per pair, tapped and ready for rod ends? Sounds alright to me.
