Have you taken out the amplifier?
Hi there, I have a 1990 MX83 Cressida Grande and I'm trying to do an aftermarket head unit install.
Now, I have bought harnesses from Aerpro,
namely,
Toyota ISO Connector
and
Clarion VX400A Connector
However, I got stuck when I wanted to splice the factory harness into the Toyota ISO connector. I'm at a loss as to which socket to splice as there were 3 of them. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you taken out the amplifier?

I take it that the amp is that bulky thing that the 2 shorter looms plug into? If that is the one, I haven't taken it out yet.
take it out you do not need it . Use the plugs that connect the amplifier to the car harness

So it means I'll just use the plugs in the 2nd and 3rd picture?
take out the amplifier and use the plugs that remain

A colour guide for it would be awesome if you have it. Cause the ones I found on the US electrical wiring diagram were all off.
You should not need wiring diagram if you have the toyota adapter for the new head unit

They don't exactly fit.
What does your adapter look like ?

Have you tried plugging the adapter into the plugs you removed from the amplifier?

Yes. I have tried plugging them into the wires from the amplifier. The plugs are not the same and they don't fit.
Below is the harness I got from aerpro for earlier model Toyotas apparently.

Brown and black goes to the head unit adaptor. White goes towards the Toyota.
Are these the plugs you tried to plug into your adapter?
