    Yeah!!! pen15 came through with a GZE rebuilt short motor For me

    Just need to pick it up and get the rest of the parts and we'll be back on track Cant wait to get it in and run-in and will have.... Pic's of skid's,dyno sheet and a run down Eastern Creek as i live 2km from the track

    i had one but its pretty much just valve stem seals and a few gaskets now..

    pretty sure i can get them for less than $120 or at least on $120 +P

    All good ... bit the bullet and rang Toyota in Castle Hill .... $90 for the head gasket and $7 per bolt ....

    On the way now

    Picked up the shorty from pen15 tonight Thanks Heaps bud

    Checked it over !!!!
    Out come ....
    the shorty has had been re-built bar new pistons .... but they are in good nick and not to sloppy

    Now just need the money for the clutch and its go time !!!! will take me a weekend to get out, in and all parts swapped over but should be a good out come, with the fact that when its run-in should be able to up the boost

    Just run full boost, dont keep it singing in the revs, i was nigheve about my run in, but once you get your head around it, it is essential to load up the rings both on boost and with high vac, i wish i had of done my run in with a turbo if i look back on it now.. lesson learned

    I agree with case! loading up both on boost and high-vac cant be a bad thing with a fresh boosted application!

    I have had no problems doing it that way with the several engines I have built. None of with suffered any ring-bedding, run in problems.

    thinking i might sell the bigport head to get some cams for the smallport ???

    might do some shaping to the small port and put some bigger cams in ???
