Wideband O2 sensors, a few questions.

I would be interested in the software which you do MWP, as ive been thinking about doing something similar myself for the Haltech, and integrating my G-sensor and GPS code into it.

My LC1 /xd16 kit came with the blue digital read out guage (my choice).
is there a difference showing the responce times between these types of gauges and the lots of lights type?
I also have the an auto meter A/F guage (all lights) that i was thinking of daisy chaining.
maybe to have an effect going.
would this be a benefit or is it just doubling up?

the XD16 connects serially and is configurable, it's a hell of a lot faster and more accurate than the blue or red DB guages that connect to one of the LC-1's analogue outs. I've got three LC-1's, two with DB guages and one with the XD16, the XD16 is well worth the extra money IMO. The autometer A/F is a waste of space.

I've got a stack of spare sensors, so kinda wanted a no-fuss controller. Even though electronics is my thing, i couldn't be bothered wasting so much time to save a coupla quid.

So the blue type and the autometer gauges are not that great?

Read through the LM-2 forum then decide if you want to buy it.
There are lots of very unhappy customers in there.

Yeah, as many people are saying in that forum, the LM-2 has really ruined their good reputation.
Whats worse is the lack of after sales support which means all these people with LM-2's are not getting any help.

its probably really caught them by surprise, and they are perhaps still working out how they are going to handle this problem. But by the looks of things its really dragging out...

MWP, I have used an LM-2 and it's been good. I'm a member of the IM forums, and have read about a lot of the issues. Many of them are user related, been fixed, or about features I'll never use.

My opinion is that it's a forum where people go if they are having problems... of course it is going to sound bad!

But each to their own, and I'm not going to tell people what they should buy

It's great it's working for you and you are right about the forum having more complaints than compliments.

That's no excuse though for the lack of customer support people are complaining about.
