For 26 years now the NRMA has been celebrating Australia day with “Motorfest” at Hyde Park in the city. For a number of years now Toymods has been proud participants in the days events and puts on a small Toymods Display.
This year Toymods was once again in “convoy 3” so it was a disgustingly early start to be at the Domain car park by 6.20am.
Most of us met up at the BP in Ermington for a cruise in to the city led by Luis who has guided us in for the last few years.This year it was more suited than ever with a Celica Supra (MA61) a KE20 (owned by a TA22 Celica Owner) and nothing else but Classic Celica’s in attendance.
Mother Nature was not being kind and gave the convoy a steady shower for most of the trip in however once we arrived things cleared up and for the most part it was a dry day.
