Just got for an NA 2JZ.

Its going to have as much power as a stock 7MGTE, and no BHG worries.

with that power figure in mind you'd want at least a very good piggyback that can control fuel and timing. I managed it with an SAFC and SITC on factory management but ended up holing a piston. Probably could have done the same power without killing the engine if I'd used a microtech or similar. Oh, and a hi-flowed turbo helps too

Mine did. ARP studs and genuine toyota HG outlasted the pistons at 17psi...

Put a parts wanted ad up (if youre able to with under 30 rep). People may not advertise them coz they probably dont think theyre worth much (and theyre right). If youre patient, teh p00 motor will come to you....

Looking at power figures the p00 - gte puts out and at what boost levels, it's quite interesting... They certainly can punch out some nice numbers!

7MGTE's can punch out nice numbers, but they can also punch out nice head gaskets if your not looking for much more power then a stock 7MGTE then i'd definately go for an atmo 2JZ. Then it's all just horses for courses however... i'm looking for a relatively sane daily, he might not be

"Toyotas For Sale, Toyotas Wanted, Parts Wanted are open to any approved user to use."

you should specify more information... ie condition of stock turbo, or if you even want one with the stock turbo (i recall you mentioning you wanted a different turbo on there)

There's a forum member on here with a 7MGTE for sale, without the stock CT26....

His nickname is Danners... lives near me in fact

Send "Danners" a private message, asking him about his 7MGTE. He's also got one slightly built up if I recall correctly, perhaps that might serve your purpose even more!

He's also got a gearbox for sale too... just yeah, send him a message about it.

    Cheers
