thought of changing your lower controll arms to get neg? i run sigma contoll arms in my race car with nolatec tops for fine adustment, and i can get up to 5+ neg... this is an ra40 but controll arms should still fit.
yeah mate,
they are s13 CASTER adjustable plates.

strat, what model sigma? more details would be nice.
Im prity sure it gh sigma.. the caster rod and sway bar mounts line up you will have to change tie rod ball joint back to celica and grind away the edge of the controll arm to fit in the cross member but no real effort involved i think there are details on the old toymods forum...
Hi guys....
next update...
well the bearing in the strut top fits the koni strut inserts i have. this does use a different spacer to what was in the top when it arrived.
basically, there was a machined spacer inside the bearing that was cable tied into the strut top. (this was much smaller than the toyota insert - i assume this is the s13 size). wrapped up seperatly was another pair of machined spacers with a larger diameter. this set fits perfectly, so i assume this set was added to suit my car.
so if you are ordering some make sure you tell them it is for a celica.
So far very happy still.
struts go to get bent tomorrow so hopefully things will continue in the right direction.
Cheers

hey these strut tops are only camber adjustable, right?
has any one seen camber and caster adjustable ones.???
did find these ones from K-Mac, no idea about quality, any one used kmac products.

Ive used Kmac ones and the quality was average. Try Noltec, much better quality.
look much better compared to the kmac,
any idea on pricing..???
sorry for getting off topic.
Heya,
these ones are caster and camber adjustable.
originally the idea was to get the caster adjustable ones to help the holes line up (as these tops are originally from an s13 not a celica) but once in place, they do actually still have caster adjustment.
how much they have i dont know. i havn't reffited the struts yet.
Cheers
Stew
keep us informed, i need to know weather i need to cut and zapor if i can get away by maxing the caster arms and getting adjustable tops.
cheers Mike
How much caster are you after?
not that great ammount, maby 5-7 degrees, the tierods and srtut tops should be able to get me that far, but god it would be fun to bust out with 15 degrees.
people would trip.
You must have strong arms! I find anything over 5 deg with no power steer gets too heavy in the Celica.
But now if I converted the ae86 rack to a jdm p/s rack... hmmmm.. yes castor![]()
What impact does castor have on steering and handling?
Ie more camber would make what easier and harder?

Castor is a good thing.. It creates dynamic camber and the steering will return back to straight nice n quick.
Castor though the more you have, the heavier the steering gets.
I have mine around 3.5 deg on passenger wheel and 3 on driver. Probably should go a bit more really.
