G'day all,

well my strut tops arrived today!!!

they were well packaged and the kind people even put down the value on the front as $10 to avoid any duties.

they appear to be nice and solid.

from my first line up it appears they will fit with no modification - at the very most maybe a mm off the inside bolt hole. will know better when i pull the strut out and see where the hole is.

as for measurements of the bearing that someone wanted. if you give me a brief description, or diagram of the measure ments you want i will see what i can do.

so why dont people use RA40 shocks in their RA23/28, using appropriate bushes...or are they just too low?

Joel, i did see those, but seein as i didnt have any coilovers at the time i didnt go any furthur, though after the first transaction went so smoothly i may ask them bout a coilover package.

As for my strut tops - fitted them today (just to the tower) and they FIT WITH NO MODS AT ALL!!! no only do they fit, but the caster adjustment is still useable (as well as the camber adjustment).

well in future ill be wanting, coilovers, camber tops, tender springs the works. so if they stay cheap then ill probly buy from them whatever i can.

heya,

well i have found a place up here to bend my struts. one is already bent, giving 1/2a degree of neg instead of the factory 1/2 a degree of pos. i will be getting them both lined up as the same - hate to have the tops with different adjustment!!!

as for cost.

was 179 us. cost me 250 aus. but i think paypal may have used a slightly different exchange rate. like 71.5 cents us instead of the 73 it was at. didnt make much difference though.

Have you fitted your strut to these yet? Interested to know if the bearing in the camber plate is the correct size for our cars.

G'day mate,

no i haven't fitted the struts yet. but they did come with 2 different size inserts that fit inside the bearing, so i am assuming one of them is the right size for me. but i will know very shortly.
