Methinks a 16v one is interchangable as both are 4a blocks
Has anyone seen of a remote oil filter setup for a 20v?
any info would be great!

What is the difference between 20v and 16v oil filter setups?
should be no difference.
Does the 16v have the 2 piece alloy housing that bolts to the block that the filter spins onto? (it sticks out about 6 inches from the side of the block)as this is right in the way of where i need to make the engine mount for my ke25 conversion.
you can get this sort of setup that i am using on my GZE. here is a photo of the adaptor that screws onto the block.
you will then get a remote housing that holds the oil filter that you can put in the desired location. this setup that i have is cheap and effective.
the brand is "earls" which is a holley company.

what you can do if you do not want to run a remote set-up is remove the oil filter sandwhich plates and mount the oil filter directly to the block. free's up heaps of space.
Yeah i was looking to mount the filter direct on the block, but being a race car i can fit a larger filter this way.
twas a joke! the blocks look all the same!lolOriginally Posted by slide86
get a good filter like an oberge or system1 as when your racing it payes to keep broken bits right out.Originally Posted by KE25 RACER
