the old forums doesn't have the old tech articles...
here's my good deed for the day:
Nark's web site
i also have a PDF of Rob's article "RA-23/28/40/60/65 Celica Engine Upgrade" - is a 1.4Mb PDF - PM me if you want a copy.
[good deed for the day out of the way]
cheers,
Charles,
yea man that would be great thanx alot anything that will help
oh and by the way i want a gen 3
Gen3 is no different in implementation, just slightly different wiring. You'll still need a front sump regardless.

ok what was the hardest thing you found in the conversion? was it the fuel system because i heard that that is the hardest part of the conversion
im sure NARK will be happy to tell you how he did it. lol, i can still remmeber the updates when he did it.
he will see this thread sooner or later or PM him, im sure he wont mind.
The fuel system is a doddle as you can bolt in an entire RA65 EFI setup.

ok wat about the engine mounts?
That is where my memory is hazy and you'll need Nark's info. It matters not whether it's a Gen2 or Gen3 though.

ok thnx for the help
be wary of reading straight off the RA40/23-1ggte guide as the engine mount/sump setup will be completely different for you. some other things will be different as well.
PM "stefan" off these forums. he has done the conversion in his RA65 (same car basically)
hello
ok i heard u can get these special mounts that are made especially for these conversions so bassically you can bolt these straight in so the motor will fit with no welding neededOriginally Posted by brett_celicacoupe
