Default 4ac head - how much can be safely removed??

    Howdy guys

I am restoring an ae71 rally project, and the head is at the shop getting the cam done and port matching for the weber, they have asked me if i want to take any material off the head to raise compression slightly

but he only has the head and doesnt know how much can safely be removed?

it is a fair drive to take the whole engine their, so I was wondering if anyone knew?

    Thanks in advance
    David

Will you be taking any material off the block or decking the block at all?
