for people who have done this swap, what did you do with the junction box?

if I give the ECU starter wire power directly from the battery I should expect a reaction from the start right?

worked on it a few more hours today but still disappointing =[

MAF and AFM are the same thing
its a pretty big job doing all properly and your extending the loom so its not going to be a 5 minute job

might be afew weeks or a month or so of on and off working on it because it looks like your over your head
get the loom lengthened first and then run that into the cabin and then worry about joining the loom to the Cressida loom
do it neatly and do one wire at a time

um.. they both measure air flow, yes. How they function is different but regardless doesn't matter to me.

    Door vs. wire.

I agree one wire at a time and try to colour code them as close as to original because if you do something wrong your going to have a nightmare trying to find the fault.

Hard to see 100% in he pic, but it looks like the ecu is key coded. Does the ecu have 5 white plugs and 1 grey.

Luckily it's only 5 white, no immobilizer! 8)

You're right I am over my head, hopefully I can figure it out.

I have already extended the loom into the cab, but there is 2 pairs of wires on 2 different connectors with the same color coding that I need to check the pin outs next time I look at it.
