It's very crude but not as crude as the microtech hehehehehe
Sounds easier to get a new ECU haha.

It worked ok'ish... but the Microcrap still couldnt handle all conditions properly. It would still stall at certain times unless i set the idle to >1000rpm (very annoying).

Be cheaper than a decent, but still be better to save up the cash for a good quality ECU? My idle has been bumped up to 1080 rpm, but sometimes It goes to 950rpm then 880 and down to 500rpm sometimes, depending on what load It's under. Up and down like a kangaroo on hot coals.

Just turn the idle up and deal with it

Adaptronic seems to be the best of the cheaper ECUs.

or even a haltech sprint 500, and take it to WTFauto for tuning, as he has plenty of exp with haltech's and tuning 3sgte motors.

Heard about them, the tuner that worked on my car supplies those ones. Was thinking about getting one.

Cheers for that. Heard about them for years but never had a chance to get anything done there because I live north of the river and It's more convenient for me to get work done up here. I might give him a call and see what he can do for me.
