Arhhh the dellow housing, what a beautiful bit of aluminium art they are. Mine has been uber modded and doesn't have that issues you have now Joel. Along with many other corrections such as refabricating the clutch fork pivot point. After that wonderful bit of gear the next time we went 4A to Wxx box we had a T50 bellhousing and W5x bellhousing made into one new housing. Looks pretty much factory but was a fair bit of work for the guy who did it.

The current project of my brothers (4AGTE/W58/KE10) will be getting a niteparts housing as they seem to be a very nice bit gear and not a bad price.

I have a 4A->W5* bellhousing in my Sprinter. Not sure of details, but it came from Malaysia through a group buy Steve from Adelaide organised back when he was at JMS (and JMS existed).

Engine is on factory mounts, so has factory tilt and everything bolted up fine. The shifter is on a slight tilt toward the passenger, but still sticks through the factory shifter hole fine.

Custom GB crossmember and tailshaft and I was in business. Maybe Steve can give more details on these housings.

Bellhousing and how the gearbox sits. Like where the gearstick sits in the hole etc etc.

Ok, the niteparts ones, available here bellends work out to be $541 AUD, not including GST or freight. A little bit pricey IMO, but I'd cop it for the quality & if they're going to get here relatively soon. Also hopefully we can knock the price down a tad for a group buy.

Bill, can you shed any light on what you can get your hands on, in terms of price, quality and more importantly, delivery time?

Pending Bills reply, I'll get on the blower to this reardrive place & to Brendan/Niteparts & see what they can offer us, and in the meantime can we get some updates on who is definitely in on this?
So far it seems to be:

    1. Me, BigWorm confirmed
    2. SLO-055 confirmed

    5. thu187 confirmed
    6. Rex confirmed
    7. PuGZoR
    8. Takai confirmed

Can eveyone just confirm their interest please?
Also, SLO-055, any luck getting in touch with Kaizen Garage?

I'm interested, but I did say to Ant from Kaizen that I'd grab one of his. I'll have to go have a talk to him over the next week to see when approx he's expecting his stuff to get here. Asked him over the phone but he didn't tell me whether or not it'd be weeks or years. When do you guys want a final answer for the group buy?

i'm interested.. pending results of angle changes, and maximum clutch/flywheel sizes.. ( i should start searching )
then again.. with 6 speeds similar prices to W5x's....

edit.. or you could do like this trust GTR box coupled to JZ bellhousing...
