Default JZX100 a340e with aftermarket ecu questions

Ok so i have a few questions regarding the following situation...

car is an auto jzx100 with a hks 3037

its had a microtech wired into it which starts and runs the car (by in no means well and im not suprised given the wiring mess ive seen)
however all factory loom plugs have been left disconnected and only the TPS has had the microtech piggybacked off it...

now my vauge knowledge of the a340 tells me that it will need more than just a tps signal to function correctly...

currently it gets overdrive and reverse which suggests to me it has no power getting to the solenoids to tell it which gear it needs to be in...
more concerning is it also probably doesnt get any line pressure control... so the box might have destroyed itself... however once it gets hot it will not engage any gear so im wondering if its boiling the fluid or if there is some sort of failsafe...

now i dont believe it will be possible to get vvti to work at all with the microtech so not really concerned with that

but i guess to piggyback the microtech successfully and retain the jzx100 ecu to control the auto what needs to happen??

    my thoughts are
    microtech controls
    injectors
    coils
crank/cam sensors (does the vvti 1j have cam sensors like the non vvti or is it within the vvti plug?)

    the water temp
    air temp
    tps

should all be piggy backed only?
and all other jzx100 wiring left plugged in as per factory?

does this make any sense to anyone and does it sound correct for what needs to happen?

    Will need speed signal
And most probably rpm from crank or cam sensors
If the loom is a mess start fresh as if u don't it will always be messy
And give u headaches down the track
Funny how 90% of microtech wiring up jobs are messy heheh
Do u have the std ecu Hooked up
If so wire it up to std ecu then pity back microtech of it
Otherwise get an aftermarket controller for the auto
Having a manual shifting auto is fun for first few weeks but
Then u get over it and want it to be like a normal auto

yeah the issue though is its electronically controlled line pressure which means i cant just make a $10 shift box...

yeah its a mates car so hes going to attempt to take it back to the workshop that did the work...

failing that i said ill help him sort it...

looks like most factory wiring is still intact will only need to source and replace a few plugs which i should have spares of...

standard ecu appears to still be hooked up but 90% of the loom is unplugged

im shocked of the wiring job for a professional workshop...

hahaha yes ive seen sooo many shit jibs by professional shops
get him to talk to a good transmission shop and see what the go is if u dont have line press
pretty sure u have hi pressure all the time so it thumps abit in gear
ive had guys not complain about it

ah ok... that would be a good thing i know if its a kickdown cable a340 and you dont connect it up it doesnt control the line pressure and ramp it up as required and blows the box up... but it would be good if its the opposite on a electronically controlled one...

might give MV automatics a call as they should know...

but once the microtech is installed correctly and the factory ecu is left to do its thing then the gearbox control should be as per factory anyway...
