    Yeah it's been opened, the 4 impact driver screws that hold the case together are nearly stripped... Luckily I have an impact driver so getting them out won't be a problem.. It looks clean enough, just wanna check there's no foreign Pocari Sweat cans in there

    The carrier bearings look new & unused, what's your opinion on getting the same NSK bearings & only using the outer races? I got the old bearings off the open centre for part no's, but I had to angle grind and split the race.. Lots of piss farting around and if I can get away with using the bearings already installed on the LSD t'would be nice.

    I always replace carrier bearings, good or bad looking.

    Got it all assembled today.. Nearly had a major cock up when I started pressing on the pinion bearing and forgot the shim :\ But other than that no hitches. I'll see how it goes when the car is back on the road.
