would love to put a little boost into it. driveline would be on the limit at about 250 rwhp i reckon. bit more ?
maybe s/charger, if easier to set up.
spoke to engineer at taree 2day, he reckons i may have to go bigger brakes i.e v8 cruiser on front.
no smog test if engine comes from car sold in aust new.(passes ADR rules).
list goes on because they changed all the rules late last year .

'92 on the V6 4runner has pretty much the same brakes as the V8 'Cruiser with the larger calipers and thicker rotors albeit with drums on the rear, Adjusted correctly they stop a lot better than the 'Cruiser being a full tonne lighter and have a better handbrake. LS and SC400 Aust new have EGR and Celsior/Soarer do not which are the only physical differences. Also the JDM Celsiors and Soarers have different fuel and ignition maps in the ECU

what you said about the brakes is what i told him.
best brakes i,ve had in any car, he said he,d check out sizes v,s cruiser and mine etc,go from there.
can they tell exactly what car the engine is from? told him it,s ls400 for ADR reasons.
smog test would be painfull. not easy on the wallet either i,d say. driving around sydney in traffic not fun.
