Hi, me and a mate race our AE82 4AGE and our AE92 4AGZE. Some pics of our cars, we have plenty on this link.

Does anyone have a copy of the checklist that the scrutinisers use? I found out last night that I needed a battery terminal cover and was wondering what other things I may get caught out on.
1970 2M MS55 Crown - Weekend Cruiser.
1970 2R RT40 Corona - Cruising Grandpa Style
1986 20V 4AGE AE82 Corolla - The Brown Racecar.
1988 4AGE AW11 MR2 - Sold but not forgotten
1992 1MZFE SW20 MR2 - Sold Supercharged V6 Monster.
Pm me your email and ill send it through.

even on there checklist they do not state about the positive terminal to be covered
the scrutineers will tell you to cover it , unless its in a battery box with a lid
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
they get anal about needing clear tape over the headlights too, rather than any colour.
i used race tape to cover my battery terminals
...oh and degrease anything in the engine bay if it has got oil on it.......they want a clean oil free engine bay.
On another note all those who are camping should bring plenty of layers as the overnight temps are getting down pretty low. That said be sure to bring a raincoat / sunscreen etc as the weather could be anything during the day![]()

So my car is finally ready apart from mounting my 6 point harness.
The two shoulder straps I was planning on crossing over each other and mounting them on my cage but can I mount the two crutch straps and waist straps where the seat rail bolts to the body of the car or is there a better way of doing it? I haven't sat the harness in to look at it yet so some tips on fitting it would be awesome.

it is better if you mount them through the floor
with a plate on the underside , if they are on an angle and something happened
it would bring tears to your eyes
post up a piccy to give us a better idea
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Can we park our cars and trailers where we camp? I'm thinking of sleeping in the cruiser rather than a tent.

Hasn't last minute been happening for the last 6 weeks Van??...best of luck in getting it all sorted and stop writing messages and get back out into the shed!
I'll be at Kalkallo at 12-12.30 tomorrow so fingers crossed everyone gets everything sorted and we all have a top weekend.
