    Hello all

So you all don't worry and wondering and start flooding me with email enquiries.

Due to a rather busy week, docs will be send out a few days later and perhaps on weekend. Just a bit busy with my own work.

A few minor changes but nothing to be worry about and will not affect your planning.

The only real concern which you will need to be aware of, due to some arrangement problems beyond our control we are now a little short on volunteers so if your team has anyone else who is available, we would dearly like to utilise their skills and time. Please let me know.

Please also be aware that your listed event volunteer will now be required to help out an hour or so longer than planned and might have to carry out some flagging duties on a flag point (based on experience). I am sorry to have to make the shifts a little longer but it is a situation beyond our control and this is the nature of club motorsport. We will make every effort to allow your event volunteer enjoy the event as much as possible without being overworked.

All event volunteers will be provided with lunch, refreshments and drinks throughout the day. Your help is dearly appreciated and will be acknowledged.

    Thank you for your understanding.

....not wanting to bad mouth AROCA but when they had competing team volunteers standing outside in the sun for most of the day whilst AROCA "volunteers" were strangely absent doesn't really help their cause. Yeah I know club level motorsport is all about pitching in and helping but leading by example didn't really happen.

So I've run into a problem with the alloy wheels I was planning to run and the amount of camber on the car. Long story short, they are rubbing like a mofo...

I read in the regs that you can't use steel wheels with "R" compound or "competition tyres only". I am planning to run Federal 595RS-R tyres that are only a "S" compound tyre. Does this mean I can run them on steel wheels? I've got a set on currently that will fit so that could solve my wheel issue if I can use them.

..hey Justin....do whatever you can to try and not use steel wheels......even if you run the different compounds the scrutineers are gonna be giving them the double take........maybe even worth getting in touch with Neil Choi who oversees the event and get a ruling from him. That way you won't be left high and dry if you get to Winton and they pull something out of the hat.

    I'm running 4x100 wheels in a 15".

Rolling guards won't solve my issue as the wheels are hitting on the inside at the front from the camber bringing the top of the rim inwards. I was going to run some spacers to try and solve the issue but I'd need pretty big ones (around 12mm) and I'm not overly keen on doing that.

I've got a set that would've been perfect, but they're locked up in a container that I can't get to!

Surely with all the corolla's in the teams someone has a spare set of 15's in +38?

So Timbo what you are essentially saying is that: You are actually -in fact- the 70's wheel hoarding playboy that likes to lock things up in a shipping container and throw away key?

    Suspect.....

    Just sayin......

Justin - all my dirty nissan wheels are 4 by 114.3 and ill be using my multifits on the day - sorry no go.

Edit: I really should have read the thread properly regarding the wheel request. I haven't got anything suitable.

On another note, I will probably come for a look/help on the Sunday.
