    Good Morning everyone,

I have some interest from 2 people at this point - Wayne Lee is the name of the gentlemen that I was racing with a week ago. His brother is possibly interested as well, which is where the 2nd person would come from. Both are very capable racers, with Wayne and I having a good dual at Sandown before I nose-planted it only a guard though -easy fix

I have forwarded them all of the info incl. AROCA site and also this forum.

Wayne needs to speak to his brother and then he will get back to me/us.

Shall let everyone know in due course.

    Darren.

Grumpy Automotive racing is now the only confirmed full team for the 6 hour
Rob Paton and his co-driver are trekking down from Wagga Wagga to join us for the event
this now leaves 1 vacancy in Team Corolla and Oscar has not conformed his participation in Team Japan
so if we get 2 more entries Oscar will miss out
    also
some of you would have heard we were going to have to run 3 teams out of 2 garages
    this issue has been solved
we will be in the last garage and our 3rd team will be running out of the gate at the end of the pit garages
not ideal but better then trying to fit 3 cars out 2 doors

Pray for good weather then! ....at least we will have a fair bit of space to play with being down the end.

    Cheers Rabbit.

I may be in trouble being allowed to run in this as according to the regs:

    4.11 ELIGIBILITY OF DRIVERS

All drivers must have competed in at least 3 (three) club sprint or higher level events prior to the Event
or have a proven history of Motor Racing or Sprinting as a licensed driver.

As i've done a great whopping 0 events...
    1970 2M MS55 Crown - Weekend Cruiser.
    1970 2R RT40 Corona - Cruising Grandpa Style
    1986 20V 4AGE AE82 Corolla - The Brown Racecar.
    1988 4AGE AW11 MR2 - Sold but not forgotten

They have never previously enforced that rule so I wouldn't worry.

The biggest thing for you to do will be keep an eye on the mirrors. Traffic is busy when you are coming up to speed.

Your hillclimb experience counts for something too, so don't stress.

i have raced against people that have been doing it for years
but i would not get in a car with them to go to the milk bar ,
