thats some great footage there simmo.
Yeah chased it down, but it held me up for the next lap and it was a bit of a boring lap and then cut back in when it spun![]()
Slowish around corners, pulled away from me massively on the straights.

AND THE HILARITY DOESNT END!!
I got the call that my sil80 was done at the exhaust shop on thursday night (was already heading to goulburn)... so today I decide to go pick it up. Drive up to harrison's to give him his soarer back (ive been borrowing it to get to work), and then he drives me back to get the sil80. Halfway down the F3 the radiator cap decides holding coolant is for pussies and blows its load all over the windscreen. WTF!!!
Seriously I should just give up on cars n shit...
Great day. I loved the 2 min line up to get on the track. I really need better back tyres.
Bit of an adventure getting there. I have never seen a car clutch started in reverse at night with no lights on in the rain on a highway waiting for a gap in the semi's coming the other way. No fear?
Thanks Garth for organising it and special thanks to all the marshals who stood out in the nasty weather so we could play.
checked out the vids keep em coming![]()
Hi, me and a mate race our AE82 4AGE and our AE92 4AGZE. Some pics of our cars, we have plenty on this link.

Was a great day, a wet track can be really fun at times!
Here's some footage from the front of my car when it dried out a bit. only time I got some decent laps as my tyres were too cold and I was understeering everywhere.
Here is Simmo living up to his name....
what do people use to play with massive video files?
also, my footage is fairly boring on the whole![]()
Windows live movie maker is all i've ever used.. I feel dirty, but it works. And it's easy. Dunno how it goes with large files, i dont see why it should be an issue

I used windows move maker also... easy and worked a treat. handled my 1.5gig files or so fine.

This was a mid-afternoon session when everyone seemed to be having lunch/complaining about the weather, which meant 25 straight laps were had. I haven't actually watched through it all myself, but I'm sure most of it is not that exciting, although there were a few hairy moments
lol, thanks for the jumper pack Damo. Appreciate it. Garth has it if you're wondering where it went![]()
You need to buy a lottery ticket or something Vito - you're definitely up for some seriously good luck
