22RE wireing help!!

Hi i have a 81 hilux 4x4 had the old 18R now putting in the 22RE. i have looked all over the net and cant find the info i am looking for. i have the old 2 plug ECU and every thing i do find seems to be incomplete. like the one below, can eny one fill in the gaps or tell me if it is wrong?

Have you tried opening up the ecu to check if the pins are labelled?

Also, this would probably have similar wiring to the 18RGEU, which there is info on in these forums.

What igniter and coil do you have?

If they're of help, I have a several wiring diagrams from 22RE cars (for older mechanical/vacuum-advance ignition system and the later ECU-controlled ignition system). PM me an email address and I'll send you a bunch of PDFs.

I did decode some of the pins on the ECU plugs, but mostly to work out how the ECU connected to the chassis loom.

Just a side note, you may want to check the CAPS CONTROL. It appears it might be broken too.

You are running a 22R loom right?

And just quickly, the 18 pin plug is referee to as "A" and the 12 pin as "B" .....
So:
A5: intake air temp. Sensor
A6: n/a
A7: start signal
A8: brake pedal signal
A9: n/a

B4: diagnostic test terminal.

I have HEAPS of wiring info for this engine, I'm just trying to go through it all....

Thats all good info keep it comeing and do i have to run all thease wires to something or can i leave some out ???

i have the factory coil and igniter and the dizzy has realy thin leads? thare are 2 pins out of the coil. and 2 out of the ignighter. power and ground???
can i burn it out if i wire it up wrong??

the loom i have comes from the inlet manafold and has TPS,all the inector wireing and a few temp senders also plugs into the computer ( plug ) b

do u no if i run the old coil and ignighter and just run a wire from ware i use to pick up my taco will this work ??? eny help
