This is with very nice header (toda) 2.5" exhaust and a BMC CDA cold air induction... no crazy open throttles...

this is vaguely relevant to high revving 4A's

ssworks make 2 block girdle kit things.. 100,000yen = about $1200+ and 120,000yen

do the atlantic motors run girdle/ladders? they run aroun 10-10500rpm.... if they don't use it, you probably don't need it... there seem to be very few companies offering them, although with that rpm AND boost it might be more of a requirement... NA we are still only talking 160-170Nm for most motors

The Hasselgren cattledog doesnt list any girdles at all, so i would say no, as everything else that they do have is listed.

looking at it closer the more expensive one seems to have a better oil return setup with all of the cut outs opposed to the cheaper one which has none and relies on just the cut outs for the conrods.

Still goto get my hands on one of them!!
Then i can really go stupid!!!!

from what I can recall the girdle was used in N2 motors , where they ran for hours in a class form of racing in japan,a lot of info available for N2 in the bible.they used carbys etc reved to 9000 and have a heep of parts made by TRD and such.

They arnt listed as an N2 homologated part in the Levin/Trueno bible either, so i doubt they were used there.
