That's the type of thing. I've seen cheaper so exercise some patience if you aren't in a hurry :-)

I think this baby will fit, but I need to do some more searching... he has a flange for a T3/T4 for $90![]()

Is there anything wrong with the standard turbos on the 3sgte? Why the T3/4 or T25/28 over the toyota turbo? Bearing in mind I dont want a KW-king, just a good jump in power.
Thanks for all your input, I would rep you again but I did so yesterday![]()
3 issues. Finding one but you have a CT26 already? Size, the CT26 is a pretty big sucker. Technology, the design of a BB T28 is quite a ways ahead of a CT26. Otherwise the CT26 is a capable turbo and makes decent hp so if you have one, go for it.

Nah I havent got one, but somebody is offering me a manifold + CT26 + oil and water lines + dump pipe. Not sure how much he is after yet, but it might be a cheap option, but I like the idea of the T28 more, is a T28 the same flange as a T3/4? Or are they totaly different?Originally Posted by JustenGT8
Cheers for all the help dude.
T28 is a T25 flange whereas the T3/4 is a T3 flange....can all get a bit confusingadd the fact that there's potential to mix turbines and compressors and it can really get out of hand.
What CT26? from a 3SGTE (which Gen?) or 7MGTE?

I am in the process of trying to find that out. Would you go the T28 or the T3/4? I am getting the feeling from reading a few ebay ads that they(T3/4)'s are bigger turbos.
Yup a T4 is a fairly big sucker and they use the T3 turbine to keep spool up sensible. For your application i'd be going with the T28, especially as you aren't going for big hp
