DIY Autotune just released the four channel ignition module, which is based on the same BIP373 coil driver the MS2 and MS3 now use. $89 seems pretty good value.

Depending which COP's I end up finding for the RG, I may need one of these.

Hey Knightrous, Have you had a chance to test your new Hall sensor?

Not yet mate, but might be able to do it tonight, think I'll just stick my spare dizzy in the drill, hold the hall sensor near the NE wheel and see if I get an RPM

I think we can sort most of your hassles out by adjusting that fuel pressure correctly, the MS2 was running super rich because of the high fuel pressure would have been making the injectors flow way more then the MS2 calculates (185cc @ 42.5psi, running 60+ PSI makes a big fuel increase!). Also, to help with the cams, if we rescale the fuel table to start at 50kpa (with those cams, it was idling at 65-75kpa) and scale it to 110kpa it will give a lot more cells to fine tune on the table itself.

I haven't tested it yet, however trying to fit two of these sensors onto the dizzy is going to be a bitch due to the size of the sensors (won't get one close enough to the 1 tooth wheel), but there has been some other developments in a thread on the MSExtra forums.

    Cam Mounted Trigger Wheel

Looks like with using the cam wheel as a 24-1 trigger (grind 1 tooth off) with a single hall sensor will allow full sequential! This will be piss easy for us to do and will hopefully end this hassle of getting the VR sensors to play nice!

Well, I finally have an RPM signal! A simple case of RTFM and a quick solder in of a resistor and everything works. VR sensor works fine, so no need to setup the hall sensor any more.

Old, did you read this section in the DIYPNP documentation?

Cam Adjust: This lets you change the trigger voltage on the VR2 input. R20 increases the threshold trigger voltage, R21 decreases the threshold trigger voltage, and R39 can be adjusted to move it either way. If you already have information on what works for your sensors, solder a fixed resistor to either R21 or R20 as documentation recommends. For example, most Nippondenso ignitions work best with a 51K resistor in the R21 slot and R20 empty.
If you have R39 installed, remove it and install the 51K in R21. This fixed the problem instantly for me, it might fix it for you

nope, but if you're not running MS3, an alternative is megatunix.

It's not very expensive to buy a license I think you can install it on 3 or so devices too!

Yeh much tunerstudio seems much more pretty plus has some cool features like that tune analyser and im planning to run the program as a gauge display too in the car hooking up a couple of extra sensors to the MS3+MS3x inputs.

Yeah its cheap but im poor lol
