4agze wiring questions

hey all
i'm in the middle of restoring and converting a ta22 to a 4agze. the problem i have is, i have a map based ae92 engine and an ecu for it. but no wiring loom, from what i can think of as my options is
make my own wiring loom. (would be ALOT of work and costly)
try and find one (been looking for months and still nothing.
or maybe
get a 4age wiring loom and adapt it to suit the 4agze, <- this is just an idea ive had and havent had a chance to look in to it.

so any comments on this would be great.

the next problem i have is bell housing adaptor, ive heard the niteparts is the way to go, but i cant seem to find a supplier.

I have done that, I had my old 4age I converted to by bolting a supercharger and manifold from a 4agze on. I got alot of the sensors with it. In case I wanted to reverse it one day I left the 4age loom in there and made an additional loom to the extra sensors and differances between the to. alot of the 4age plugs were left hanging and I made myself a mud map and repinned the ecu plugs half using the sensor wires form the 4age loom and half from the additional loom. I got it working. I taped up all the left over hanging ecu wires that wern't used from the 4age loom.

In the pic you can see the new loom routed above the manifold. this was pretty much just there for the CAS, igniter, and SC

what sort of cost, time did it take you, i'm guessing a fair bit.

time, it would have taken a few days going through wiring diagrams. as for cost was pretty much a few rolls of wire. but as I said I wasn't hacking the 4age loom anywhere but the ecu plugs. if you do this will save some hassle.


most the wiring is the same 4age to 4agze, the are obviously extra sensors. SC pressure sensor, knock sensor, other SC sensors. 4age used a dizzy so new wiring for the CAS and igniter, coilpacks. Map compared to AFM
