it sounds like your plumbing it into the breather..

catch can and just plumb the pcv and the breather into it and then put a drain in the sump?

show us a photo of what your doing man

the pcv goes from pressure built up in the crank case (the lower half of the engine) there is a one way plate from the block which needs to be fed to the intake to pass emissions.. pre-turbo!

there is also a breather from the top of the motor from the rocker cover.. this can go to a catch can or also pre turbo

the big problem is spraying oil everywhere.. which is where im thinking your plumbing it in after the turbo essentially your pressurizing the crankcase or the rocker cover

    this is my old rg

you can see the rocker cover being vented to the intake.. this would be no different to plumbing it in BEFORE the turbo

i dont think i have a pic of crank case (i really cant remember it actually..)

there should be diagrams on here also.. did you check the 18r-gte thread? it is epic long tho

yeah i think youre right with vac on the blow by.. makes sense with that pic yeah

i could be completely wrong and the engine design is such that it vents via that one breather in the top.. in which case that diagram you posted would make sense..

PM a link to this thread to justenGT8.. he is an 18rgte guru and will be able to tell you

sorry if i misled you at all

EDIT river just built one of these too!

dont shoot me down if i am wrong but would you not plumb both the breather and the pcv to the catch can as the plenum is pressurised and the pcv requires vacuum which it will get from the turbo and still allow the oil caught in the catch can to drain to the sump
