New oil return is angled down !!!!!! And is 17mm ID if this doesn't work than it has to be stuffed !!!!!!!!!

ummm..... I know people braze these things in sometimes. (ie. a certain gay garage in town here uses a spike to punch a hole in sumps and then brazes in fittings for oil drains). I have never liked the idea, but I cannot comment on its effective or defective ness as I have never looked into it further or done it personally.

I am sure people here have though? FWIW I still dont like the idea. But meh, go for it if you like?

they'd be punching a hole in the sump instead of drilling as it wouldn't create swarf to run around inside the block - note i take it they're doing this on sumps already on cars. not ideal but yeah you get that...

nothing wrong with brazing - is very effective.

Grega - yeah on sumps already on cars. and cool! I had doubts about solder, but if it works then it works!

Adam - Good luck buddy! I am keen to see the result!
