    Hi,

I should do a vid of Trini firing up in anger, seeing we all like to get on the grissle when we hear and see these old babies on boost.

    Hi,

Ok. I'll see what I can do on the weekend.

You're right about boosted 18R-G's. A lot of talk about them, a lot of work getting them built, but only a very few actually completed. I think it's up to us with completed running 18R-GTE's to put our vids up to give those in the building phase some impetus to continue and get their builds completed.

LOL my vids of my 18RGTE are so old (mid 90's) they are on a 3.25 floppy disc and i have no way to get them off any more

My fave is a private 'test and tune' day at the old Canberra drag strip running the full 1/4. The old haltech F7 only had a 2 bar map sensor, so once boost reached 15psi the injectors would go to full duty. At the time i was running 20ish so the fuel dump vortexs trailing behind the car from the 60ft mark looked awesome....somewhat reminiscent of a fighter jet taking off It ran 12.8 that day

    Hi,

I can load 8inch, 5 1/4 inch and 3 inch floppy drives, such is the antiquity of some of my old systems. So, might be able to extract the vids from the diskettes... assuming it is still readable after all these years.

    Hi,

Oh, that! That was a baby squirt of power. I kept her under 3500rpm. Can't rev it too hard or it will wake Stephen Hawking, as he will think a new black hole is being created

Yes, she is running nice at the moment. I think the cold weather suits her.

You may be getting heat soak in your engine bay once fully warm causing poorer combustion. Could be something worth looking into.
