Multifit will be fine...i am assuming by that you mean wheels that have two sets of 4 holes, each one in a different PCD?
As Ian says.. steel wheels are banned in the supp regs of the 6 Hour because they have had a few cars pulll the centre out during the event.

Definately a no go with steel wheels. I got in touch with Neil Choi through Winton about the 6 hour and they said under no circumstance will allow any steel rims if they are running R compund tyres. Like he said to me your better off with alloys and then you'll have no issues no matter what sort of tyres you are running.
Oh and Ian. I don't have a spare rack at the moment but Matt may be able to get one out of his spare car if you ask him.

I thought running R Spec Tyres on steel rims was a no go for all CAMS and AASA events?
2 years ago at the 6 hr
darryl had steel wheels on his anglia
and they carried on about that
we got around it by asking for the C A M S ruling on it , (there was none )
as darryls car was log booked with the steel wheels they begrudgingly let him run only after 3 scrutineers inspected the wheels
and was told that he couldnt run them in future six hr events

lucky I am not working I have spent the last week doing body work on the RT40 and a lot more to go
hope the doctors don't tell me to go back to work next month
still have to get either corolla up and running
damn it's only 21 weeks till the 6 hour
WTF what is wrong with a steel wheel?
one of the triumph tr3's had the centre ripped out as it was a steel wheel running slicks and there is an inherent design fault in them ,
so they put a blanket ban on them
steel wheels with radials are permitted though
