Thanks for the update Ian.......is that a typo where it says Adam will be driving or has been beaten into submission to get out there???...either way it is good to see people putting their hand up to run.

shornesheep/ corolla ( if complete)
you also missed Matty G Ian (club secretary)
Since i've been told that I cant run steel rims for the 6 hour does anyone know if multifit alloy wheels are acceptable?
1970 2M MS55 Crown - Weekend Cruiser.
1970 2R RT40 Corona - Cruising Grandpa Style
1986 20V 4AGE AE82 Corolla - The Brown Racecar.
1988 4AGE AW11 MR2 - Sold but not forgotten
1992 1MZFE SW20 MR2 - Sold Supercharged V6 Monster.
I have no idea Justin. If worse comes to worse I can lend you my spare factory 14" alloys. Although the width of them really limits tyre choice and grip levels, go surfing on gumtree.com.au
Ian I have my cams licence and the car will be fully race prepped and shaken down by them too
Matt.
I've got other 14" wheels already so it's not that I don't have wheels to fit.
The whole reason for me buying 15" rims is for the range of performance tyres available. I thought that steelies would be ok to race but since there not the last thing I want to do is buy a set of alloys that are multifit only to find I can't run those either.
Cheers for the offer though Matty.

Ian may be able to answer your question Justin
but I have never heard of steel wheel being an issue
my son used to run 3 piece steel wit aluminium centre in 2 litre sports sedan with no issues
aroca (the alfa club)
have a hate for steel wheels
as there was an incident 3 years ago with a triumph
running slicks on steel wheels and it tore the bolt holes out of the rim
triumphs will do that even on radials , so alfa has banned them
i am not sure of the ruling on multi fit rims
i will try and find out
it would help if you pm me a piccy so i can ask
cheers
