lol, you managed to beat Garth for the trophy as well
he left thinking it was safely his.
Who won the NA <1800?
Was a great day albeit a short one due to lack of attendance (not good for the club's kitty). Big thanks to the guy working in the cell and on the bbq.
Chuffed with the improvement my car has made (+26.3awkw) by eliminating the shitty factory exhaust. Unless someone else turned up I'm guessing I won top AWD and maybe even most improved though I have no idea who else has run back to back with decent gains, thinking Rod might get it if he ran the MS51 last time with the stock motor?.

Hi,
I think poor old Trini won best of her class. She pulled 153rwkw, which was a tad less than I was expecting. I was hoping for 161rwkw. It's good, but not unexpected when all the "high power" dudes can't make it 'cos they have an engine problem.
Dave (the SAS tuner dude) says the engine is running a bit rich at WOT and seems to have a restriction somewhere which is causing about 1lb drop in boost. So, I'll get that fixed but after I get a new triple core radiator, 72deg thermo and the air-con connected. Oh, and some heat shielding - she gets pretty warm in that engine bay.
Still, Trini looked nice which was good, especially after spending a day in giving her a full clay bar, polish and wax.

Hi,
Pffft!
Besides, they had to keep the revs below 3500... due to unusual earth dynamics at higher rpm.
Will be interesting though to see what you make next time with the FMIC.

LAUGH NOW CRY LATER ! Cars and Girls will do that to you !!!
people have found in the past that the shootout mode reads a little lower than when tuning though, but it still would have made one of the best if not the best number of the day for the class I'd say.
Good day out as usual, the Soarer is so much better at cruising the freeway than the 102 it's not funny. Cruise control set at 110 in 5th and it still managed to pull straight up the hill from Mooney Mooney bridge without a sweat. Decided to take the Old Pac on the way home too to give the suspension and tyres a work-out, got nowhere near the limit since I was first held up by a motorbike going 60-70 in the 80 zone to Brooklyn, then by a Murano going about 65 in the 60 zone to Mt White, but still had plenty of fun - semislicks, coilovers and 2-way LSD means you can still floor it in the middle of a 45-posted corner at 70 and not worry about the back stepping out under boost, sound was awesome off the rock too.
Was a little disappointed with a 188.7 though, especially since I knew I had a dyno sheet from SAS in exact same tune of over 202, but this was allayed when I got home and found out the old run was run in nice chilly 11 degree weather (compared to 30 degrees today)...
Vito's result made me glad we didn't settle for a stock one though, although I'm unsure of how much of the 50kw difference is due to the mods, and how much is due to the dog of an auto box![]()
