but, AFAIK cavitation is the formation of air bubbles from a liquid when a pump requires more net positive suction head than the liquid can give. How do you form air bubbles from air?????
'I've scrapped better.' John stated when asked about the car by the guy with the silver tipped cowboy boots!
Turbulence, not cavitation will occur.
Also, if you want to retain the stock style idle speed control, a Gen2 3SGTE TB can be used.

Also, do your ABV mod like this:

Cheers for all the replies everyone. Looks like the poor gze is struggling to breathe.
Compression is fine, 175 to 180 across all cyl
Would it be worth getting a 4a/3sgte throttle or just wait and get a later model 3s 60mm throttle and making up a custom 2.5 inch suction pipe and cooler pipes.
The cooler is to big imo, but it is what the car had when i got it. what are peoples opinions of dual exit intercoolers? I would like to change my over the motor setup if possible to make the piping shorter. What about using something like This put on its side? I would also assume a rwd bigport manifold would be out of the question unless the sc was spaced a fair bit out?
How easy was it to squeese in a 2.5 inch pipe on the suction side of the sc14. It is quite tight as it is.
Oh and i have done the abv mod like in the pdf already.
