    Default Electric windows

I'm thinking about putting electric windows in my ta22. Looking at a Universal Colibri Kit from Electric-Life. Just wondering if anybody has used this kit before and/or have any comments on the quality.

I have put a kit that looks pretty much identical into my RA23. I haven't done the front doors yet, but the back windows work a charm. You'll have to make sure that your existing window setup is smooth and free, if its stiff or jerky forget about putting in the power windows unless you fix them up first.

There was a topic bought up on this just the other day in these forums, should be a page or two back if you have a look.

i made my own hybrid electric windows for my Ta23 using corolla gti motors & mounts, if you have an angle grinder & a mig welder & a bit of know how its pretty easy, drivers motor goes on pass side & pass motor on drivers side so they face upside down then all you have to do is cut off the gti motor mounts on the gti mechanism & cut off the celica mechanism & weld the corolla one in place brace it at the front and cut out a small section of the inner door so as the motor sits flush with the door panel side the kits you spoke off cost about 150euro here in Ireland, my home made ones cost 10euro for the switches & 20euro auto electrician to wire correctly.
