    Default 100kw Intake hose

My 2nd air intake hose has pretty much disintergrated and I'm wondering what other avenues i can pursue short of paying Toyota $150 for a new one that will likely go the same way as the others. I dont really want a used one either but if that's my only option, would anyone have a spare or unused one for sale? I've also noticed hoses on ebay for other makes which look kinda similar but way cheaper.

Anyone got a good (cheap) solution?

i take it you mean the part between the throttle body and the air box?

you could go to an exhaust shop and get some intercooler pipe made into the same shape. you could have a pod filter then.

    yep get a steel one.

They are next to nothing in price and will flow way better than that factory crap!!

Yeah the hose between the throttle body and the airbox.

I think I'll prefer to keep the airbox/element system (Had a K&N pod before, apart from the cool sound it made, I didnt notice any performance advantage and it was more maintenence.)

I thought about the metal/aluminium ones. I'll check it out. I would probably need to insulate it somewhat right?
