51mm like the MX73 and the majority of bigger Toyota struts. Seriously, try the MX73 struts 1st if you have them.
does anyone know the diameter of the ra60 struts? as i already have a 51mm sleeve coilover kit which was destined for the original s13 setup which also fits the mx73 strut.

yeah but there's a shit load more ra60's at the wreckers and i couldnt find anywhere which had an mx73. The struts cost me $50 and i can easily resell them as they have king springs with them. Couldnt be assed finding the mx73 lca's if ra60 bits are falling from the sky's. Im on a tight schedule to get the evorolla finished

havent had a chance to look at the differences but any reason people use the ba rotors instead of the r33 rotors?

The height of the BA rotor is such that you don't have to run any spacer or adaptor, whereas with the nissan rotors you generally have to run a 10mm spacer between caliper and strut I think. It's all positives with the BA rotor because it also gives you 10mm better caliper to wheel clearance
ok, its just that i have a newish pair of r33 rotors here, will see how they go and if they dont work will get some ba rotors

The R33's are a better option if you have the wheel clearance for the calipers, you get 30mm compared to 28mm width. If you want to test clearance try your wheels on an R33 as the setup is identical, if they don't clear then look at the BA stuff.

Anybody run these adapters for a RX7 brake setup on AE86 struts?
http://ajps.com.au/parts/fc_brake_calliper_adapters.asp
ta22 1mz, is there any particular reason you went for the rear mr2 shocks? and shortening the struts?, i noticed the ta22 is a dedicated track car did you just want to get it a bit lower? Reason i ask is because ive heard of people using st185 shocks also.
Anyone else have an opinion on using different shocks?

Thanks takai, now this is a bit of a noob question, this is my first time putting a coilover kit on a strut, got everything ready to go i just want to make sure i get it right the first time. How do i get the position of the sleeve right, what are the do's and dont's when putting this setup together, any advice/pics would help.
thanks guys
