Default coolant temp sens/switches around M15x1.5 size??

    heya...

have a Nippon Denso oem radiator here with a 15mm (or so) sized hole in it i need to fill ( just plug it up really)

i assume it was a thermo switch for the fans, or a temp probe, but really dont know, or have any way to find out.

all i know is that its looks about M15x1.5 (though could be something else...

...does anyone know what that common size is likely to be?

i dont have a bolt shop or industrial supply place here, so cant just go check out a few threads and see what fits. im hoping that theres a common sized probed/whatever that will go in that hole?

and if there is one, AND you have a psare, reckon you could sent it to me in the mail??

    thanks!

    cheers

No such size as 15x1.5 most likely 16x1.5 . Do you need one with an O ring seal?

yup, i had another look, m16x1.5

and yer, looks to needs an o-ring seal by the look of the face. although some loctite usually fixes that kind of problem

rob, dont need 'anything' other than the right sized doover to fit in the hole. kinda dont even have a bench or vice to go buy a bolt and cut it down at the moment! so yeah, if anyone has a bolt bucket with a spare floating around in it? awesome.

    ill also check eghey

    cheers
