Thread size on a stock 1ggte water temp sensor?

Hi all,

Just bought myself an electronic temp gauge with a sensor that has a 1/8 NTP thread on it. I was hoping to find an adapter in order to screw it into the stock sensor position on the 1g. Does anyone know the thread size though of the stock sensor?

Anyone at all? Is it BSP, NPT, UNF?

from memory it is 18mm 1.5 pitch if i am wrong feel free to correct me

Thanks. I've just done a lot more searching. Haven't come up with anything 100% yet but reading m16x1.5. Can anyone confirm this. It would make sense its metric I guess
