W5x gearboxes......common bearings across the models??
As the title notes, does anyone who is familiar with rebuilding the W55/57/58 boxes know if the bearings are common across these models or do they vary from model to model?

I can mention that there are slight differences in bearings between 'early' and 'late' W5x at least.
I did a document up many moons ago that highlighted some of the difference between early and late w5x that I could identify. If you want to PM me your email address I'll forward it on to you
Otherwise for early W5x I'd personally expect them to be the same, but don't have first hand info... have you tried checking the EPC?
